The WP Residence is a real estate theme developed in June 2014 by Annapx, an Envato Elite Author. This beautiful template comes with many functionality tools and features, specially built for both independent agents, and real estate agencies. WP Residence allows you to create your professional real estate online business. WP Residence is also a great advantage for those who look into buying or selling a property.

Design

The WP Residence theme is specially built for this industry and comes with a fresh and clean design. It is fully responsive and optimized for small screen devices. The author also made the theme retina-ready and cross-browser compatible making sure your visitors will have a great navigation experience.

This template is flexible and allows you to boost your website using two different types of layouts: a wide or boxed version. WP Residence gives you the possibility to choose between five pre-built layouts, available with the theme’s Demo Import option.

You can style the header section with three types and append a media header like Google Map, Image, Theme Slider, and use it globally on the website. Pricing, currency, custom fields, a list of amenities and features, listing labels, personal identifications number boxes or memberships with payment facilities are a few of the tools provided by the WP Residence.

Do you like to customize pages on the backend or the frontend? With WP Residence both functionalities are available. It comes with the powerful drag and drop page builder – Visual Composer plugin and over ten custom blocks (Related Listings, Contact Form Agent, Property Gallery and other).

Performance

We have tested the WP Residence’s default demo on different page speed tests, and the content loads with a medium speed.

The author has provided in the theme’s options panel a setting related to minifying the versions of the CSS and JS files.

The theme’s settings panel comes with a search button directing you the detailed information from the documentation.

Downsides

The WP Residence theme doesn’t provide any post formats. This means that you will have to style every post individually or add custom code to do it for you.
Some important industry-related features are still unavailable. We noticed that dedicated features like the Comparing properties, sub-properties support, booking or real estate product reviews, are not yet included in the theme.
